nordic fMRI Solution

Integrated hardware and software solution for clinical fMRI

Introduction of fMRI as a clinical tool has added vital information to patient treatment and evaluation. fMRI is a sophisticated technology, but does it have to be complex and require considerable time and resources?

At NordicNeuroLab we believe that the clinical use of fMRI requires simple automated procedures, enabling a single technician to handle stimulus generation, image acquisition, data analysis and reporting and exporting of results.

NordicNeuroLab’s nordic fMRI Solution was developed to handle just that. It has been specifically designed to fit within the workflow of your hospital’s daily routine and has been tailored to integrate software and hardware components simply and effectively.

Customizable to your center’s needs, NordicNeuroLab’s nordic fMRI Solution is a flexible and sophisticated tool that continues to evolve as a result of our strong partnerships with MRI manufacturers, leading research institutes, and hospitals all over the word.

NNL fMRI solution with VisualSystem

The NNL turnkey fMRI solution using VisualSystem video goggles to present visual stimuli to the patient.

NNL fMRI solution with InroomViewingDevice

The NNL turnkey fMRI solution using InroomViewingDevice to present visual stimuli to the patient.

Stimulus delivery hardware

Fully integrated hardware for audio-visual stimulus presentation and response collection, compatible with MR scanners and a large variety of head coils from major vendors. Suitable for field strengths up to 3T.

Analysis and report software

Intuitive interface guides the user through the process of loading and analyzing BOLD fMRI, DTI, Perfusion and structural data sets. State-of-the-art 2D/3D visualization of white matter tracts together with BOLD fMRI activations on various underlays. Analyzed data can be exported to neuro navigation systems or to PACS. Runs on standard PC or laptop, no special hardware required.

Paradigm and workflow software

Intuitive interface and instructions guide the user through the process of presenting stimuli to the patient. Included library of ready-to-use standard clinical paradigms allows the physician to test perceptual, motor and language functions. A single technician can handle stimulus generation and image acquisition at the same time.
